  • Pentecost  ( 2 items )
  • Lectio Divina  ( 3 items )

A very ancient art, practiced at one time by all Christians, is the technique known as Lectio Divina - a slow, contemplative praying of the Scriptures which enables the Bible, the Word of God, to become a means of union with God. This practice — kept alive in the Christian monastic tradition — is a wonderful way of improving our relationship with God. HSI OnLine is pleased to present this feature by Fr. Luke Dysinger.

We have also introduced a new column Daily Lectio, where you can find meditations for each day to practice the art of Lectio Divina.
