Richard Maffeo

Richard Maffeo is a convert to Catholicism from evangelical Protestant faith. He wrote forty meditations based on the Nicene Creed to stir a passion within the hearts of his fellow Catholics – a passion “for the faith that was once for all handed down to the holy ones” (Jude 1:3).  His meditations are compiled in his book, “We Believe: Forty Meditations on the Nicene Creed”. The book is available through bookstores and his website.

Whether you’ve confessed the Nicene Creed for as long as you can remember, or rarely recited the words spoken by Saints and sinners for nearly seventeen hundred years, these meditations offer a fresh perspective on our ancient proclamation of Christian faith. Let these thoughts guide your contemplation of the Mystery of the Triune God. Explore the wonder of God’s love, His faithfulness, and compassion toward you. You might never say the Nicene Creed the same way again.

Something to think about!

The real leader has no need to lead - he is content to point the way. - Henry Miller
